Sport&Health is a group of higher-end health clubs in the Washington D.C. metro area. For nearly 15 years, I’ve been helping shape its brand through video, posters and direct mail. Most big box gyms, like Sport&Health, border on sameness. So how do you differentiate yourself? We focused on Sport&Health’s strategy of changing people’s lives. We made the ampersand the focal point in each piece of communication and aligned it with an inspirational thought that was focused on one of the club’s key features, like basketball, swimming, group exercise or yoga.
