Destination DC: The American Experience
The new Washington DC Convention Center was about to open, and they wanted to make a big splash and start booking conventions that would traditionally go to cities like Orlando, Vegas and Nashville. But the new convention was under construction, and they didn’t have any photography of it for advertising. So we had to think of a creative solution that would both promote the city and the convention center. Since DC was synonymous with elections, we took the ballot as a visual device to deliver our message and use beautiful imagery of the city to attract conventioneers.
